Yes, really wild grapes in southern Nevada!
The way into this canyon is a long walk up the dry wash
Along the way we met some of the wildlife. We stopped and watch this guy for a couple on minutes and as I started to take a step your dad grabbed my arm to stop me from.............
Stepping on this guy! He was going after the lizard and slithered between us!
yikes!!!
These rocks form the entry to the canyon
they are filled with hundreds of petroglyph's
It looks like the authors 'wrote' on top on each other
Then an easy scramble over some very slick rocks brings you to this.....
Wild grapevines growing where the springs come to the surface in the wash. There are several sections in the canyon that are filled with grapevines.
Beautiful!
